About Chef Tal Zohar

That trumpet. That stuffy. That vibe. That journey.

Read about Chef Tal's secret sauce that makes his food insanely good.

From the Kibbutz to the world

Chef Tal was born in a "Kibbutz" in the northern part of Israel and was raised to love and cherish his country and its magical landscapes. While in his youth, Tal began to be involved with music, acting and entertainment which accompanies him also today as a chef.

After completing his army service, Tal began his culinary journey by working at several restaurants in Israel before flying to do his culinary studies in the USA. Chef Tal studied at the FCI in New York and cooked at numerous restaurants and kitchens around the world before he came back home to Israel. Over the years he has catered private outdoor events for many visitors to Israel, using his vast experience to provide each group with the finest dishes imaginable, which cater to any specific taste. His events focus on small groups and are a fantastic combination of food, fun and humor.

The story behind the famous food truck

As much as he is a chef, Tal is also an event planner who sees an event as a complete experience that expresses the Israeli nature at its best, both in location and in the vibe, and that's why his outdoor food truck is so famous. It's not just about the food: it is about the combination between the location, the ingredients, and the flexibility that enables him to tailor every event personally, not only for the client who booked it, but also for the guests.

If you are planning a trip to Israel and wish to add an unforgettable outdoor culinary experience to your travel plans, this is where you start:
